Microsoft European Convergence 2007

After the success of Convergence EMEA last year in Munich, Microsoft has now confirmed that this customer conference will take place again in 2007. Over 2,500 delegates attended last year, representing Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This year it will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark between the 22 - 25 October.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV: news on the latest release - 5.0 and 5.1

It was announced at the European Convergence 2006 that Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 will now be split into two releases -5.0 and 5.1. 

Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 is expected to be available from March 2007 with 5.1 estimated to be released sometime in Q4 2007. Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 will include the C/SIDE client, all the new application features, Microsoft Office 2007 integration, and a technical preview of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.1. The Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.1 release will include the new look client (user interface), 3-tier architecture and web services. Both releases this year are being heralded by Microsoft as a major step forwards with the Microsoft Dynamics NAV product, being the first of the Microsoft Dynamics solutions to be designed specifically for the SQL 2005 platform.

CustomerSource is a secure web site for customers of Microsoft Dynamics (formerly Microsoft Business Solutions) and related products. It provides access to timely and relevant information about each business management solution.
